Nice job Dan, I somehow missed out on this thread. Engine details and prop look excellent. Balsa looks like an ideal construction material to aid in the build. Something worth to keep in mind!

Cheers,
Erik

Thanks so much, Folks!

I've been trying to post these pictures for the past three days, but always get kicked out with the error message...maybe this will go better!

I got the windscreens on and started the rigging. Next will be the control surface rigging and then, on to the dreaded landing gear.

Thanks for looking,
Dan

It's been a while, but I got all the basic rigging done including the double wires for the control surfaces. Looking pretty sharp and now it's on to the landing gear/skid!

Thanks for looking,
Dan

It's beautiful, Dan.

As we discussed in the Saturday Zoom, you can see AVRO 504K E3404 (Civil G-ADEV) in flight in the opening scenes of Reach for the Sky here: Reach for the sky full movie - YouTube (the 504K comes in at about 2:04 fading in from the opening credits).
