Douglas b-23 dragon
I'd like to present a project that has been taking shape recently, around 10 paper modelers between model designers, livery designers and beta testers gathered together to deliver this magnificent aircraft, the Douglas b-23 dragon initially in 1/48 scale. 1/72, 1/100 and 1/300 will be available as well. The project is called "Joint Venture" a fusion of knowledge and team work between two FB groups. The model will be released in those FB groups as a free model with a basic recolor. So far the templates are almost completed, some of the contributions are Draco models designing the wings and horizontal stabilizer, Marterair papercraft designing the front fuselage, and Tex Mod designing rear fuselage, vertical stabilizer, engines and landing gear. For recolors, beta tests and vectoring: Juan Angel b747, Adrian (AG Recolors), Darwin Priego, Luis Alejandro (Lapr1994) ,and Wilsonl Valbuena. Some other versions of this aircraft with special recolors and modifications will be available at Ecardmodels.com.

A very interesting and worthwhile project. I do not recall seeing the B-23 in paper before, although Aaron Murphy designed a B-18 Bolo.
I loved seeing rollation in action. Don |

I've been debating doing the B-23. It just always seems to get superceded by more interesting models. Since my local air museum has one, I've gone and taken lots of reference pics, and even a walk-around video. But I still haven't had that "kick on the pants" that inspires me to put it onto paper.
