I really wanted to get started on my Philippine recolors, but last week my usual laptop suddenly crashed then refused to reboot. After many recovery attempts I finally got it to reboot in safe mode, which allowed me to backup my old workfiles and keep reading this forum.

Unfortunately my MS Office suite wouldn't work in safe mode, so I need to figure out an alternative - watch this space.

Pleasure to build.

Interesting little guys; had to try the Army first 'cause Army paint jobs
always looked neat on their twins especially in the late 1950s.

Then of course the Navy.

Wingspan Army 5 3/4 inches. Navy 5 1/8 inches.

Size difference? I just select ,don't pay much attention, try sometimes to fill the page and work with what my printer spits out.

I'm happy playing with with what you fellows are sharing and allowing us to download.

Thanks ,

Bob

Nice builds Bob. Both look very smart in their respective service livery.

Nice builds! Glad you're keeping the thread alive
One small comment: the large triangular piece of the tail should be partially inside the main tail component as shown. This way you don't need as many tabs on the tail and it allows for cleaner alignment as everything is flush with the rear of the fuselage.
(Sorry for the crude diagram and the lack of activity, i am in namibia at the moment and internet is not super reliable)

taking into account that the King air and the B1900C and B1900D have the same wings, the same engines and similar rudders, you could make the model of the Beechcraft B1900D in 1/200

The Australian Royal Flying Doctor Service has a fleet of various mark King Airs.

Great recolor and superb build, thanks Rata!

I have been pretty busy doing some research on UAV applications here in namibia so ive had my hands tied the past month or so, but i still plan to finish more recolors once i get the chance (may be another month or so, though). Glad you guys are filling in the gaps
