With the tail fins done, I decided to go back to the intended assembly order. Parts 19 is the canopy, a devious little structure. I didn't get any pictures of the parts or construction, but I'm extremely happy with the result:

Next up are the wings. Parts:

The instructions are not very clear regarding assembling the wings and it took some time to work it out. The stabilizer fins didn't come out great so I decided to paint them as well. It's a bit odd having most of the plane be the standard print black with a few parts "dark black", but it's not too noticeable and imo looks better than what it was before painting.

We're almost caught up to the actual build! I'm hoping to be finished with her this week
