The rear turret is finished. I already had one designed, but it was a bit difficult to assemble in scale 1/72. So I redesigned it.

In the same picture, you can see the actuators of the center wing flap, still unpainted.

So, just remain to do: propellers (very important), aleron actuators, radio masts (including the central bulb), counterweights... and the long air intake between the wing supports. Thats all.

Of course, then comes the instructions and the delivery of the beta test to my friends for final testing. This time I'll be doing the beta-test of the 1/72 version in spanish SAR paint.

And meanwhile, I'll be making the other versions of the plane to be ready for release in ecardmodels, too.

Thanks, gomidefilho!
The rear turret is placed and painted, and the ailerons and flap tabs are placed but not painted.
I'm thinking about placing all this details in a separated sheet and let the modelist decide if they are going to include them or not.
The parts not glued are depicted in a red/orange color (even the ones already printed). As you can see, the model is almost finished, so I hope it happens this week.

Is this model going to need a display stand or will it sit happily on the hull?

Oddly enought, the keel has a totally flat section (left of this picture) so I haven't need a stand. I'll take the decision once the wing is permanently fixed, probably tonight.

Thanks, Mike!

Now the model is advancing quickly!

The red parts are the ones to be designed, the yellow ones are designed and printed but stil unglued.

And the instructions, that will have two sheets, are being drawn.

So... this weekend? I have already talked with my beta-tester friends!

Propellers started, already turn, oil coolers under the cowls placed. Around half of the instructions done.

Still believe that I can finish this weekend!

Almost almost ready!

All the gadgets under the wings are placed, and the counterweights on the elevators are placed, too! Well, they are still unpainted, I'll be giving it two layers of paint once dry!

I think that the looong "L" under the wings that can be seen in the picture of the Sar plane but not in the Netherlands museum is a mechanical device the prevented that the wingtip would make contact with the sea.

Anyway, just remain to design the red parts, and to glue the yellow ones.

Hmm, looks a bit flimsy for that. More likely the pitot, or a valve to check the fuel for contamination.
