Thanks, Siwi!

I have been working in the instructions and detecting the eventual piece without name. I hope to finish them tomorrow.

I already started with the SAR model. As an interesting detail, the one I'll be depicting is the one that was later converted in the Do-24ATT. It's not just to replace the color; the windows are different, and all the turrets change.

Siwi, I don't see that the shape is more complex than the Stranraer. Maybe more than the London, yes.
The Stranraer has a bell shaped structure, the Dornier is rounded... defitely the Stranrer is more complex. Way more complex. It has 3-4 sheets of formers against the only two of the Dornier, for example. This one has smaller OPTIONAL parts, yes. I think when you do the planes with my level of detail and research, every one of them is different.

The Alpha model is finished with the placement of the exausts over the engines and the four fuselage-wing wires.

Meanwile, the SAR version has been started, and the instructions have been finished. The DJ+ZM, Seenotstaffel 7 is 100% completed!

It's incredible how faster can go a repaint compared with the design of the model.
The spanish SAR is 90% finished. There are details like a new set of turrets (or lack of) and a teardrop antenna instead of the previous mast ones. Just the red circles remain to do.

But the painting is finished.

Now, Spain had Do-24s from the 40s to the 70s. The one I'm doing is depicted like it was in 1966. With the years, there were changes on the position of the yellow band, the name and the emblems.

About changes, there is a badly painted SAR plane at the Deutsches Museum in Oberschleißheim, Bavaria, that has two yellow bands. I would like to ask to the one who painted the plane why instead of just picking any picture and keeping just that scheme, he used a mix of two different ones.

The Do-24t has been temporally halted for a few days due to a family emergency. I hope to return to my computer very soon.
The emergency just became a very big care problem.

Very few remains to do of the spanish Sar version. Build the frontal "tower", close the rear gun placement, draw the black anti-glare panel. You can see that the left side windows are different than the wartime ones. The right side ones were keept the same.

Then print and assemble. The DJ+ZM was finished last year, and Péricles is doing the only 1:100 version that there will be done.

As soon as I have the beta-test pictures I'll release the model in ecardmodels.

Starting the conversion to 1:33 scale and getting ready to draw the last details of the Sar turrets and the instructions.

I decided to do all the 9 original versions of the plane that I had selected, plus a "Combo" of the CM+RY, from german to swedish (4 planes).

All of them will be available at 1:33 and 1:72 scales.

The Do-24t spanish SAR is finished, I'll start the X-24 on static display at the Nationaal Militair Museum in Soesterberg, Utrecht. It is painted in the livery of the Marine Luchtvaartdienst.
I'll keep making the conversion to 1/33 scale, too

While beta-testing the DJ+ZM and getting ready to assemble the spanish SAR this week, I'm starting to design the X-24 on static display at the Nationaal Militair Museum in Soesterberg, Utrecht. It is painted in the livery of the Marine Luchtvaartdienst.

There are some changes between the real Do-24K X-24 and the one at the Museum. The main differences are the dorsal and rear turrets and the left side windows. And that happened because the one in the museum is another spanish Do-24T repainted as the X-24.

The version I'll be doing is the one in the museum.

The Do-24t spanish SAR has been printed, and I hope to finish it very soon, less than 10 days.
No matter which one is finished first, DJ+ZM or HD5-4, both sets of pictures are going to be used to upload the planes in ecardmodels. So be ready to download both of them before Febrary 14th!
