Thanks, Diego!

All the SAR squeleton is cut, one tail is finished and another is almost ready.
Having found UHU glue for plastic is allowing me to work faster and with less messes.

The state of the other three beta-test models is:
DJ+ZM: just remains to do the engines and to join the wing and the fuselage.
DJ+ZM 1/100 scale: full squeleton finished.
CD+BH 3 Seenotgruppe: it's going to be the 1/33 scale beta-test. Once rescaled, the changes against the DJ+ZM will be yellow wigtips and fuselage stripe, and the right squadron badge.

Estimated time to publish: before February 14th

Going VERY fast.

Some of my friends use thick opaline for the skin of their planes. I feel that 1/72 needs a normal paper, maybe similar to printer sheets in thickness.

Anyway, my SAR beta-test has the upper fuselage almost finished, and I hope to end all of it (including pontoons) tonight.

I've used 160gsm for the 1/72 scale DJ+ZM and the fit over the formers is fine throughout and the turrets are free to turn but stay in the bases.

Couldn't finish the pontoons, doesn't matter.

Found small details, like clean covers on the frontal and rear gun spaces, when the rest of the plane is wheatered. It will be corrected in the final release, of course.

Anyway, you can see that the model has a lot of details and that the parts fit easily without having to break you head wondering where it will go. In fact, some parts are reffered by triplicate in the instructions

You can see that the spanish planes had the original windows by the right side, but a new set of them by the left.

Would like to jump in again and say that the instructions with this kit are as good as those from well-known plastic model kit manufacturers, if not better. You get schematics, step by step, and part names printed on the part wherever possible. It's all really clear and easy to follow.

Assembling the engines and the propellers.
Assembling too the pontoons.

I printed the color sheets in a store, and the b/w ones in my home. If you do that you MUST BE CAREFULL that the size is right in both sets of parts. How to do it? I include a 10 cm ruler in the bottom side of all my pages just for this. It helps too to be sure that the final model will have the right size.
