Looking for a good aviation build thread

Hello, I don't build planes so I don't even know how to search for what I want.

I am looking for a detailed thread for the process including the support structure inside. I am hoping one of you can point me to a helpful thread that I can direct to others (potential new members).

Thank you all for everything.

If you mean building a detailed cutaway of the aircraft structure, the above threads are a great resource. Bear in mind they are wholly or partly scratchbuilt and require a lot of research, measurement and experience. If you simply mean making the internal formers supplied with many kits, there are plenty of build threads here that show those.

Thanks for the assist Simon, you bring up an excellent point.
I didn't even think about OP simply asking about formers.

Something I posted many years ago about a tool that helps position the bulkheads inside the fuselage.
Ring Holding Tweezers
It is an old thread so they don't seem to be available at the links provided. You can find some by doing a web search for ring holding tweezers.

Altomentis, I think that 75% of the threads published here are about construction tips. A lot of us publish here to help new modellers, so you are with luck.
As a tip, the threads that have the name of a plane in the title are usually about the model assembly, from the printing (if neccessary) to the final storege of the model.

HI;

If you name a particular aircraft that you are interested in and the scale that you want to build it in, that would go a long way toward pointing you in the right direction. There are lots of people here, who can help you and others, if they know exactly what you want. Hope that this suggestion helps you.

Regards, rjccjr

If you're looking for some really basic stuff, I like the detail provided in the "Instructions" download of Canon's 747 (British Airways Boeing747-400 - Aircraft - Vehicles - Paper Craft - Canon Creative Park)
