Paperengineer's 1/200 s&p builds

Hi all,

Since my '1/200 build a day' thread faltered on its promise a few years ago i haven't been posting on here very frequently at all—and not always for a lack of papermodeling activity! Instead of trying to resurrect my '1/200 build a day' thread (i am far too busy/slow for that now) or cluttering up other existing threads, i'm finally just making a new one: 'a 1/200 plane whenever i get around to it'

The first models in this thread in order of completion:
1. OV-10 bronco - usmc (desert)
2. F/A-18 hornet - swiss
3. Su-33 flanker D
4. MiG-29AS fulcrum - slovak
5. SEPECAT jaguar OS - omani
6. Yak-130 kitten - belarusian

Really fun builds, especially the jaguar (one of my fav s&ps; planning to build more soon!). The flanker could have turned out better, but i'll iron out the kinks soon when i build a regular -27.

At first I thought these were enlargements of Bruno's 1/300 free download subjects but on closer inspection they're clearly not!

Either enlargements of the small scale, or an enlargement of the hand

Thank you both! Yes, most all of these builds are going to be downsized 1/100 models .

Finished up another s&p flanker, and this time it came out a little better (still not perfect, but this one sits a little more correctly on its legs). Added missiles too

Not sure what the next build will be, but it should come soon

You've inspired me to try my hand at some 1/200 subjects in between my 'serious' 1/100 projects. Don't think I'll go the full detail landing gear/weapon load approach like you, more probably enlarging some of Bruno's 1/300 stuff and tapping into cafe's 1/200 goldmine over in downloads.
R&P Models has some terrific 1/250 stuff that would enlarge nicely too.
