First build is done

For future recolors i might make some small modifications like lightening the windshield color, but overall i am very pleased with how this design panned out

Thinking about a Pucara for my next design after i get a few hawkeye recolors done

We were working in Myrtle Beach adjacent to the airport, and there was one of these flying around showing off. The angle this pilot was bringing this bird off the runway and banking was crazy. Just looking at the plane, I wouldn't have thought how agile an aircraft it was. I really enjoyed the show.
If you are making the design available, I am partial to the US navy markings. Let me know when it's up on your sell platform.

Thanks,

Dave

Thank you

And the build of the tiger meet hawkeye is finished! It came together pretty well, after making a few of these birds the radar dish is getting a lot less warped. i started working on a singaporean hawkeye that will hopefully come in the next few days.

Also of note, i will be out of the country for a couple of months starting in about a week; not sure how that bodes for my papermodelling output will try to get another release or two out by then!

Thank you very much for sharing - both for the design and the images of the builds.
These are indeed excellent. If you are ever in need of inspiration for another recolour there are also the Israeli ones.
All the best for your travels, deployment.

To be honest I prefer the VAW-123 Screwtops paint scheme that was shown in the one photo, they were assigned aboard the USS America when I was on her

I'm sure it will be covered by someone at some point. I've started working on one myself.
