It's been a few minutes since my last post on here. A 3 week vacation and a wing that is taking forever to make may do that.

Here on this update I've been building one side of the wing. This one will remain skinless in the center. My goal for it is to show the interior and moving components in the wing. It will go along with the theme of having the engine exposed. I've been pretty happy with how it's been coming together. The aileron works with nearly no friction. its fantastic to operate. I just have to figure out some kind of detaching method for the cables so that the wing will be able to separate. That's been the biggest hurdle to overcome so far.

Anyways, here's some photos.

For the cables, I would suggest maybe using a jewellery finder that a loop of cable can be hooked around. Alternatively there are plaited metal loops which have a threaded shim which could be soldered to the existing cable.

Lovely work. Which paint are you using for the green RAF primer?

Wonderful work T haf! I have just bough a reel of EZ line to experiment with, maybe that could be useful for cabling in your model but I already saw something to that end in one of the pictures in your last post. Large wings have a tendency to sag because of their weight, is that a concern here?
