I should thank you for your help Ray but your last post has me at a loss - no Safari on my phone, apparently it would need installing and I have had to look up IOS; even if I had it or could find it, I can foresee a world of sh** opening up if I meddle with it.

Still can't understand why a satisfactory situation is now unsatisfactory - it worked before and now it doesn't and I've done nothing consciously to bring this about. There is a need for systems that work for individuals who don't have this level of knowledge or aptitude.

Pleased everyone else is OK with the site, obviously will have to get the ancient laptop out for future posting.

Cheers

Chris

IOS is the Apple operating system. Safari is the native web browser to iPhone.
What type of phone are you using?

Ok. Wish I could offer more help, but I know nothing of the Android system. Maybe
some other member who has one can chime in?

Fingers crossed you get the technical issues sorted Chris, but in the meantime your flying boat is superb.

Thanks Garry, the plane is getting to the exciting stage but it's also apparent how large it is!

Absolutely no progress re posting and reading posts or looking at photos, constantly having to log in; an added feature apparently specific to my smartphone on which I now do all my browsing and posting.

Would start a thread about it to find out whether I'm alone on this issue but I have work.to do!

All the best

Chris

Might I suggest using postimages.org? All you have to do is upload and copy the URL of a thumbnail for your post, no signin or anything required. Who knows, possibly you're giving away the copyright on the pictures but personally I don't really care about giving away pictures of half-built cardboard aircraft shot on a phone...

Thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't help with the constant repetitive log in process required for any of my activities on this site - and only on this site, not on Kartonbau.de or Die Kartonmodellbauer.de.

Hi Chris,
to see the wonderful Late made by you is soo great!

I love this plane, but i can't draw and construct, and hoped for long years, to see her and -if you allow and if it is possible- to built it later.

Best greetings
Rainer

Hi Rainer, and thank you for your kind appreciation! The design process is testing my drawing skills very greatly but when the plane is complete I'll try publishing the drawings on this site for others to have a go at; I think it ought to be fairly straightforward to build, my problem has been trial and error in designing parts and construction methods that work, resulting in long gaps in actual construction while I go back on the computer.

Best wishes

Chris
