I am generally not interested in modern aviation, but this beauty is one of my favorite planes. I am sure it will be a great model.

Ummmm...I know that this is a mega-big ask and more so for something that has yet to be proven to have actually existed but is there any chance that this model might also be developed in a white/blank version so that the mythical SEA camo version could be built?

This sounds like a good reason/excuse to go snap a few hundred pictures of the Hustler at the Pima Air Museum. Thank you Ken.

Hmmmm.....I wonder if I could just PayPal Chris my entire bank account as a payment for all future models by Ken??? Looking forward to this one with great interest. The Wilhelmshaven 1:50 version just doesn't have the visual impact that this one will.

Owing to his penchant for detail, I wonder how he will exectute the delicate, yet complicated, landing gear.

To all,
What a great response! Looks like I picked a good one. A few notes: 1. The B-58 Hustler first took to the air on Nov 11, 1956. Ken West was born 6 days later that same year. (not that anyone "G's a s*) 2. I discussed the idea with Chris Gutzmer about releasing a "blank" version so that a metalized paper could be used. It's not that much work, so I will be doing that. 3. I have not yet decided on a paint scheme, so let's hear (and see) some suggestions. (there are only 8 surviving examples) but we don't have to limit the choices to those... 4. Yes, the complex and delicate landing gear will DEFINITELY be included. It's always a priority for me. 5. I am planning 3 open cockpits as in the real thing. 6. Billy L. can beta-build this since he offered after the last build. He has experience in silver paper, and a passion for x-planes and high speed machines, so makes sense to me. BTW, I just released the F-84G in 1/32 scale at ecardmodels.com. That's all for now. Let the fun begin! Ken |

I always liked the "red and white" scheme:
Just a thought. Mike
