It comes with the stand you can see which was another Bruno creation that he gave us in his One Model Per thread.
The DC-3/C-47 is a seemingly bottomless pit of subject matter so expect more down the track which I'll share as I test build them.

What a joy to see a FAB classic assembled by my friend!

The C-47 was extensively used by the FAB between 1942 and 1975 when they were replaced by the Embraer C-95 Bandeirante and the Caribou. The FAB Dakota were the only links with civilization in cities and villages in the Brazilian Amazon, landing in unbelievable conditions on mud tracks on slopes, carrying mail, medicine, health professionals, civil servants. Together with the Catalina that operated in its final years with the FAB as a cargo plane, they were indispensable and are still venerated in the Brazilian aeronautical circle. Several are preserved in museums and monuments and two still fly on nostalgic flights, one of them being a DC-3 in VARIG's colors.

Firstly, thanks Carlos for the go-ahead to share.

Thanks Péricles for the history of Brazilian C-47/DC-3s.

Karol, the markings matching the KP kit were intentional. I'm in the process of preparing the Indonesian and Egyptian subjects from the same kit.

And thanks all for the kind comments! Here's the model:

A while back in Bruno's One Model Per thread, I saved some photos of a forum member's work on developing Meteor variants from Bruno's original 1/300 Mk.III. Unfortunately when I saved the pics, I didn't mark down who was responsible. One of the pics is the first photo here, so if you recognise your work please let me know as I would like to credit you on the download when I share on here. I don't know if this anonymous modeller's efforts came to anything, but I did apply the ideas and rough dimensions to my own modifications, the first being this Armstrong Whitworth NF.Mk.12 of RAF 46 Sqn out of Odiham in 1955.

In the meantime, here's a download with all three of the build options offered in the original KP 1/72 plastic kit. Just a bit of fun nostalgia!

Great looking Meteor! And thank you for the new MiG-17PF.

I think it was wireandpaper who was working on those evolutions.

That was me!
I should have the models somewhere. I did them in 1/144.
Happy New Year!
