Slow progress but getting there.
Progress D-18T giant turbofans on. All six of 'em!
Only really the landing gear to do now which doesn't sound much but we're talking 32 wheels to construct!

My job is winding back so hopefully things can now pick up on the modeling production line.

I've watched a few videos of plastic versions where the modeller gives a long sigh when it comes to making the wheels! The entire landing gear structure is pretty complex with individual struts for each axle...



As you might have heard by now, there is a confirmed plan in place to rebuild Mriya, with some funding already secured. However, one rumour I have heard about this is that the new aircraft will have a single tail, since it no longer needs to carry Buran.
