Thanks guys.

Limited shelf space is a problem for most of us so the prospect of building larger aircraft in smaller scales is certainly more viable.

Now where did I put those Pilsworth Saro Princess and Hughes HK-1 Hercules files.....?

How about Murph’s AN225 in 1/200? Have you got it? If you haven’t, here’s the deal. I’ll ask Murph to have the link ready for the files. Don’t worry, it’s on me. Just promise to build it asap. A deal?

Thanks yankeekilo!

Courtesy of papermate, Murph has sent his 1/200 scale An-225 'Mriya' to me to build and show here. I usually display my 1/200 subjects 'in flight' on a stand but Aaron has gone to considerable trouble with this one by providing full landing gear, an opening nose, interior detail and loading ramps. Will extend the build time, but it would be a crying shame bordering on injustice to not include all that.
Got a couple of rescaled fire vehicles from the vast FDS range to add a bit to the finished article.
No doubt will take a while to get through, but I'll show progress pics as I go.

Look forward to it. A bit of advice, if you plan to build the openable nose, please print extra copiesssss of the relevant parts (nose section) just in case. If you print them later, the colour may not be consistent as you know printers tend to play up.

Thanks papermate. I learned from that very scenario a while back when I built the Thai Paperworks 1/100 B-52. Thought at the time it would be ok to print sections as I went along. BIG mistake.......

This one will definitely printed in one hit for sure.
