Not familiar with the General Aviation GA-43- thanks for posting.
Something of interest to flying model enthusiasts is (according to Wiki) it's designer, one Virginius E. Clark, was also responsible for the famous Clark Y airfoil.

Surely the Clark was an oddity. It was a very cool, streamlined design, quite representative of the 30's.

When I'm done with this Avianca-Scadta subject, I'll be posting another collection that so far is around 33% completed. That's the Colombian air force fleet that has been linked to Scadta-Avianca history, as I have mentioned throughout these forums. These 50 models are a selection of the most iconic military aircraft in Colombia:

Avianca enters the 757 into service.
In 1990, AVIANCA made the Boeing 757 available to its passengers. Initially, there were two 757s that were added to the 11 McDonnell Douglas Md-83s, also acquired through a leasing agreement with Guinness Peat Aviation (CPA). At the end of the year, then, the company would be made up of these 13 recently introduced aircraft, plus two 767s and the six existing Boeing 727-200s. The 757 directly replaced the 707, and it operated 21 of these planes from 1990 to 2010. |

Aviancas first Boeing 727 aircraft was delivered in 1966 directly by the manufacturer to the airline, this was also the first Boeing 727 to operate with a Colombian airline. Curiously, it received registration HK-727. The HK-727 is a Boeing 727-059, which also classifies it as a 727-100.
With Avianca, he was the first of the “Próceres” fleet, a series of Boeing 727 aircraft that were named in honor of Colombian independence heroes. The HK-727 received the name "Fernández Madrid", in memory of José Luis Álvaro Alvino Fernández Madrid and Fernández De Castro, born in Cartagena in 1789 and died in London in 1830. Avianca directors would receive the plane on March 26, 1966. 10 days earlier it had made its first flight after leaving the production line. It would be the first of the long succession of Boeing 727 aircraft that would make up the fleet of Avianca and other national companies. The Boeing 727 became the backbone of commercial passenger air traffic in the country from the 1960s to the 1990s. |

De Havilland Moth. Starting in 1929, SCADTA acquired a total of five British-made DH.60 Gipsy Moth aircraft, to be used initially on the Bogotá-Girardot, Girardot-Ibagué mail routes.
These aircraft were: C-34 'GAVIOTA', C-37 'GAVILAN', C-39 'GARZA', C-42 'HALCON', C-43 'HALIETO'. |

That paint scheme makes any airliner look good. Excellent 727s, what was used for the aluminium surfaces?
