Fine work, Dan! Did you use a jig to align the wings? Without the cabane, I guess that the assembly was very wobbly. The rigging looks just perfect!

Wow Dan, this really looks more than just good! Great respect for all this rigging. What are you using? EZ line? And what glue are you applying to keep the wires in place?

Thanks for looking, Erik and Ricardo!


I just use EZ line and thick super glue with some accelerator to help things stick quickly. Works very well and is fast! If I'm in the mood, I'll stick little pulled pieces of plastic sprue on the ends and paint them to suggest turn buckles too.


I did not use a jig! I have started putting wings on by first making sure the bottom wing is straight and true and then adding the interplane struts first. Lastly, I put in the cabanes. Seems to give me more control of things and I can fix crooked attachments easier. So just the Mk. I Eyeball.


It's almost done. Probably post some finish shots soon.
