1/300 scale Boeing 2707 TWA

This is the Boeing 2707 SST, what could have been America's Concord. I had been searching for a model of one and couldn't really find one that satisfied me. Therefore, I decided to design the thing myself.

I made a basic model in Blender on my laptop then used Pepakura to unfold that model. Using Inkscape a made a nice TWA livery for it and was finished. I plan to release the pdf to the downloads section soon for any one whose interested.

This is the very first paper model that I myself designed. It was a great learning experience, and I am very satisfied with the results!

You did an amazing job. Great rendering of the Boeing SST.

Excellent first effort!

This 1/300 model will be a great comparison sitting next to Bruno's Concorde and the Gerry1966 Tu-144S, both 1/300 and both in downloads.

Here's what the 2707-300's nose looks like at its top speed in the range of Mach 3.

Even divided by 300 is still fast!

Seriously, nice design and building work on this project mate.

One learns something every day-today I learned there was a variable wing supersonic passenger jet project being build, not just imagined.

Very nice model. Congratulations.
