This is the first time I became aware that the Indonesian Air Force flew T-33s.
What an interesting thread this is. Don |

Cuban T-33
The next T-33 model which will be released is that of Fidel Castro's Revolutionary Air Force [FAR] from Cuba. This is one of the aircraft that ruled the skies over the Bay of Pigs when President Kennedy failed to back up the Cuban Brigade with airpower.

Extremely interesting subject and livery. We are sick and tired of seeing only liveries, both military and civil, from developed countries from America and/or Europe. Both Asian and South American countries do provide extremely attractive and historically important liveries of famous aircraft. Sorry USAF, the RAF, US NAVY etc. sad but true.

Our T-33 models are an exception to that. Thus far in this thread we have shown T-33s of 8 different nationalities. We have presently 54 liveries applied to Rob Carleen's model. I am intending to build all of them and show them off in this thread. When I am done, at least 26 Nations will be represented. Wikipedia lists 43 different Countries that operated T-33s at one time or another. Oddly, none of those Countries listed are in Africa. Look for a lot more diversity in this thread as the builds continue. |

The next model that will be released is in a USAF livery as it looked when flying for the 22nd Fighter Bomber Squadron (Stingers), 36th Fighter Bomber Wing, Fuerstenfeldbruk Air Base, Bavaria, West Germany in the year 1952.

I brought the 19 models that I have built thus far down to the shore of my local lake to get pictures in natural sunlight. This first picture is the nine Canadian CT-133s. \
The next model that we will be releasing is another CT-133. The models are an impressive sight when they are all laid out: |
