Thanks Erik

Not sure yet as to what to build. I still have about 20 printed kits I got from Poland as well as a couple being currently rendered by my friend Gary.

Also, I have been very busy writing a book which will be published in two weeks ( about why humans hate each other and specifically Anti-Semitism which is on the rise again ).

I will get to the paper building in a couple of weeks. I will let you guys know.

Both are beautiful models. I like the one with the business tools best.

Great builds, I look forward to seeing anything you build basically so a treat.
As far as the book goes, congratulations, you picked a tough subject (Hate) that is one of the toughest I can think of to cover.
As far as it goes, for me, I think fear is the greatest driver along with wanting to be part of a group that makes folk feel stronger. Pathetic in either event.
Stay well, Sir. You and yours.

I have provided information on fear as a major cause of hate in my book . I wrote about it all in detail.

Hate will consume all. Even the perpetrators.

Clean work, I never realized how stubby the wings were.

5 Stars from me!

Thank you

Yes, those early jets were unique. Even though the wing span is short, the wing area is relatively large and provide the needed lift. However, the drag is higher.

This was a fun build. I would recommend its build.

Cool Some comparisons

I built a Meteor Mk 1 earlier in 1/33 scale. Here it is next to this Meteor Mk 8.

The Mk 8 here is in 1/30 scale , so it looks larger. But you can notice the differences.

I will post later a comparison of the plane's features.

Isaac,

Good luck with the book sales. It's great to see that it's published.

Cool Meteor Mk1 comparison to Mk8

Here are comparison photos showing the differences between the first production Meteor version and the more definitive Mk8 which was in greater use.

Canopies

engine nacelles

engine inlets

tail

This concludes the Mk8 version build.

I have an old FLY models Meteor Mk3 version which I think of building next to complete the series. Not one of the better coloring, but that's what you get with the old models.

I may also want to build Yoav's Mk8 again, but scaled down to 1/33 scale to be common to the other two.
