Model complete. The E-2 Hawkeye is somewhat of a unique aircraft in the modern day era and this was definitely a fun build. Time to go back to my F-14 Tomcat and finish that up.

Beautiful diorama and an outstanding model.
It reminds me of the late 1980s, when I was living at Yokota Air Base in Japan. In the evenings, my wife and I would take our walk out aong the edge of the taxiway and watch the Navy aircraft practice carrier landings and take offs. One of our favorites were the E-2Cs of VAW-78, the "Fighting Escargots." Don |
