The Tiger Moth is first and foremost a butterfly.


Mr. De Havilland, being passionate about entomology, gave the name of this insect to one of his most famous planes: the De Havilland DH-82 Tiger Moth. Then, do not be surprised to meet a Tiger Moth (the plane) wearing the colors of the Tiger Moth (the butterfly)!

Here is the Tiger Moth, T7390 n°83711, CIC DAMAS, of the Free French aviation (FAFL).

Recolorization (I admit it's not really my thing) of an Australian Tiger Moth from Contour Creative using Corel software.

Far from perfect and with errors apprehended too late but here it is..
