Another fine early French subject Jan!

Apologies in advance if you've already answered this question elsewhere, but your wheels always look convincing. Are they sanded layers or something else?

Thank you.
Yes, the wheels are made from several roundels of cardboard, glued together and then sanded.

Those Farmans are beautiful.

They make me think of Ford Trimotor kittens.

Thank you Don Boose.

And now here is "Elsa", a very colorful Tiger Moth from the Swedish air force.

Thank you Rata!

And now, the Stout 2-AT.

Ancestor of the trimotor Ford, the Stout 2-AT Pullmann, designed by the brilliant engineer and designer William Bushnell Stout, flew from 1924 to 1928 in the USA as a 9-passenger airliner and mail plane. 11 were built.
One was lost during a postal flight at Argo, Illinois in 1926 (pilot killed).
Stout 2-AT Pullman - Wikipedia

This is a model from Contour Creative for a 1/48 paper model:
By Air Classique - Aircraft Models, New Zealand and World Postcards

You can purchase the file on the Ecardmodel website:
1/48 Stout 2AT Pullman - Maiden Dearborn - Paper Model - EcardModels

I print it at 1/72 (66.67% reduction), see calculator here:
Scale Calculator :: ZarkovModels Card Models Store
on 160gr white Clairefontaine paper.
The sheets are sprayed with satin-finish acrylic varnish before any work.
The notice is printed on normal paper.

You can start with the fuselage, which forms a box reinforced by a cardboard core and double walls.
There are lots of adjustments to be made! The bottom is laminated to cardboard.

Looks like a great kit. I just bought it in hopes eventually of building it in 1/72. I cannot possibly emulate your level of skill, but your step by step narrative and images will be excellent guides if I do so.

To that end, I have taken the liberty of putting your narrative and images into a file to use as a reference.
