Usually when I convert my planes to the scale 1/100, I do a complete revision and finish removing around 30-40% of the parts.

Being this a unique model, it has almost the same parts that the one being released at 1/33 scale!!!!

Go gomidefilho!

Well friends

Finally some advances on the Dornier Do-24.

Working on the fuselage, virtually all of the cladding was added, as with all models with complex internal structures, good skeleton gluing is required. Observing this, the construction proceeds without major problems. I haven't really had any problems so far.

I expect to finish this model soon as I go on vacation next Monday.

More updates soon.

Smile

We finished phase 1 (internal skeleton) and phase 2 (coating), what we can say is to celebrate the accuracy of the model and its good engineering despite its complexity. Draco's Do-24 is literally impossible to build without formers.

More updates soon...

Intricate! Some careful thought gone into the design and also needed to build it.

Well friends, phase 3 and 4 were concluded. The floats and tail are finished. They weren't complicated to build, although the floats need a little tweaking.

It is still necessary to paint all the corners and small crevices (they are due to the weight of the paper I use, which is a little thicker.

To complete this set I will still build the turrets and the central struts of the fuselage, as well as the struts in the tail

Continue soon.

And me. The Do.24 to me still stands up as one the more attractive flying boats.

Yes, after I send you the model I upgraded the shape of the floats. Now the join with the fuselage is less S shaped. Did you placed the parts T6A? I don't think you can do it at 1/100!
