Thanks my friends!

No Draco is very small and non necessary in 1/100.

Small update: fuselage now with turrets. Next update: Fuselage struts and paints of white edges and cracks.

I completed the beta build of this aircraft in 1/72 yesterday. The wing goes together very nicely.

Cool. This means I can take my foot off the gas on construction (not that I was going too fast) and go a little slower alternating with other projects, anyway tomorrow I'll try to complete the fuselage and move on to the wing and engines.

After a sabbatical on this model, I took it up again, building the central struts that connect the wings and fuselage.

I have little time for model making at the moment, but I hope to finish the model this month. I'm going to paint the white corners on the fuselage tonight. And I hope to start the wing over the weekend.

Thanks my friend!

Last night I started painting the white lines and corners, starting with the German "naval greens".

Aesthetically, I like the tone of the ink is a little stronger than the tone of the print, but the artificial light of the workbench increases this difference. Subsequently with the application of varnish there is a leveling. In general, I use acrylic paint applied with a 0/5 brush without dilution (in some cases it works as a filler for small crevices as well). Continue tonight.

With the painting of the corners finished, I applied a layer of semi-matte varnish to level the colors, this step allows me to build the wing and engines of the Do-24 from now on. If the heat subsides over the weekend, that's what should happen.

I advise sticking the wing on to those central struts first, then when the glue is firmly dry add the side struts. It is difficult to guess the right angle to line up with the marks until the wing is in place.

When I did the beta-test of the SAR version, I tried to glue the external struts to the wing first. It's marginally better, but the Do-24 has a small clearance between wings and fuselage. Even so, it's not so hard as some WWI bombers with 12-14 struts!

So a bit of patience!
