Some minor assemblies completed. Exhaust on engine cowl. Wheel spats assembled. Guns completed minus the sights. The bomb.

With regard to the gun sights, of course they are paper as shown below. However, I punched two small pieces of clear acetate (also for the canopy) to make a see-through gun sight. I drew the sight structure on the clear round disk with a marker that gives a 0.20mm line or approx .005" and then coated it with clear acrylic (future floor wax).
I'd like to mount it on now, but if I do, I won't be able to insert the guns through the rear canopy.

Good work Bluenoser! The model is coming together quite nicely. The wheel assembly is very good.

Cheers,
Erik

Your Stuka looks great! Can't wait to see the finished product. That winter camouflage looks amazing.

If anyone is interested I have this model for sale with plastic canopy and wooden wheels. Send me a message if interested.

all it takes is a good sharp cutting knife to make a good canopy

Well, the canopy is mounted. A sharp knife is fine but it still could've been better.
