Siwi, thank you for suggesting that. I had actually thought of it as I began to spray some fixative throughout the build process but was unsure, since the spray can often add some hardness as well. Would regular acrylic varnish be okay to spray and then continue to work with in this case? Do you have a particular product recommendation? Thanks!

I guess. I'm using some own-brand satin clear coat from the hobby store, do about two passes and usually another when a model is finished. It's not flawless but doesn't seem to make the paper hard or soak in and cause warping, although I print on 160gsm to start with.
