Gerard Methorst designs.
Greetings
The saddest news I received this horrible year was when Gerard told me about his health problem that in a short time ended with the sad outcome last day 5. As I mentioned I have a huge appreciation for Gerard and that news discouraged me a lot. The last email with Gerard where I was able to say goodbye with great regret I promised to pay him a humble tribute by building all his designs and publishing them all together. I have just over half already finished and published in separate threads. I decode open this thread and put them all here. To delete the previous threads I leave it in the hands of the forum administrators because I have no idea what to do. In this thread I will gradually publish the new constructions along with the old ones. Of the models already built previously I will only publish the photos end, the new something of the process. This will be my humble tribute to Gerard. Starting with the Me-262, the first of his designs I built and with the which one I started my relationship with him. Turbulent at first, if you remember when Gerard closed the downloads of his models, annoying because nobody published the constructions and had made a list that caused a debate and discussion in the forum. I was on that "black list" 😁 I lost the password for the file, Gerard sent me the file again without a password and from there he was always very cordial and kind to me. So here we start. The 262 is a very good design and the result is very pleasant. |

This is the last one built, the Fokker T.5, magnificent design, everything is perfect.
I built two fuselages, one with the block system as the design comes and the second with connecting tabs, which I liked much more. Ugly plane but those dutch colors give it a nice look. Part of the process. |

Another one of the first that I built is the T-33. Another great design, not simple, with a great final look.

Beautiful idea Sergio! If permit me a suggestion: Why not upload in download area all Gerard models. Is a way to preserve the memory of designer. Thank you for wonderful builds! I make a DB-8 in close future...
