Smile Péricles Flea Circus 1/200 Scale Collection.

Hello my friends!

Inspired by the work of Rata and other friends and small scale artists. I start a small collection at 1/200 scale, without commitment (since my scale is 1/100). But the 1/200 can cover an interesting series of models with a good challenge and a very interesting size. The scale has always called my attention since Jan Kytop started showing his works in this scale.

Rata gave the final push to start these small jobs (literally). My proposal is not to leave anything in flight, but always with landing gear and in a small exhibition base.

I give preference to what is native in 1/200 scale (like Cafe's wonderful collection of planes) or downscale simple models (like some FG) or even upscales from Bruno's long series in 1/300 scale. In general, the models are built with common 90gsm office paper that can be found in any stationery store or supermarket. Some larger models may eventually use 120gsm paper.

Inaugurating my 1/200th scale flea collection we present the Antonov 26 (NATO codename "Curl"), a tactical medium transport developed in the late 60's in the then Soviet Union. They were produced until 1986 but over a thousand units, many rebuilt in Ukraine in the last 20 years. Russia and Ukraine are still the biggest military users of this plane. This specimen without Ukrainian insignia with Bulgarian registration was a civilian specimen that was possibly seized for the war against Russia. Modified Scissors and Planes model repainted by Hangar Models. I made some minor modifications to the landing gear and propellers.

WOW! That is amazing, Péricles. At 1/200 it is totally unbelievable.

It is very hard to believe that that airplane model is 1/200 scale.

It is a demonstration of your mastery of the art and craft of paper modeling.

I am glad I have a ticket to the flea circus.
