Thank you Isaac. Spinner is made straight from kit, it is paper coated with CA glue, then sanded smooth and painted white. Red color in kit is wrong for this element.

Do you hand sand the spinner, or do you use some sort of a tool to rotate the paper spinner after it is covered by CA glue?

I am interested in your technique.


For me, I fill inside with plaster and place a wood shaft to allow me to spin the part on a rotary tool.

in this case I made a spinner from the kit, covered it with glue and glued the steel shaft in it, 2mm dia using CA glue + soda. Then I was turning this piece in Proxxon rotary tool (low rpm) sanding it smooth.
