Alan Ross DC-3 reduced

Howdy,

I completed a reduced size Alan Rose paper model. Wing span is 21 inches. My determination to make perfect fitting parts each with proper matching color failed. The waste basket is loaded with printed attempts. Thus my hands finally put all the pieces together rendering a DC-3 that looks as if the late Al Capp may have created it for an airplane serving his Li’l Abner home town of Dogpatch. Still, it was worth a try.

I am sure I would have done worse. When I do aircraft, I usually do three and only show the best of the three. Strangely enough, the last one is usually not the best one.

As with most of my aircraft builds, display angle and lighting can control what folks see

Howdy DC

If you are asking dimensionally; there was none.
I photographed the parts pages and remember using the computer to add two parts pages onto one letter size page. The camera was hand held on a cloudy day. Of course there were fit and printer matching color part problems. The task was just something I pondered and wanted to see what the results would be.
