Nice rendition of the silhouette on the back of CTTE. The vehicle on the Fragile album cover would look good done in paper but would be a lot of work.

I first saw Yes in 1971. They opened for Jethro Tull.

hello doug!

i cosidered for the glimpse of a second doing the fragile ship ... 😄

on the relayer back cover the "yes-flyer" is shown more prominently.

wow - 1971, that's awsome (i'm born 1976 ...).

in 2016 i saw yes live for the first time in munich.

Absolutely wonderful tribute to the greatest progressive rock group ever.

Have I opened myself up to rebuttal?

Very fine hommage for both the band and the artist Roger Dean who did the artwork for Yes albums (and for so many other bands too). I love Yes too.

It's a fascinating model with an interesting heritage. I enjoyed the pictures.

Have an Ornithopter kit. Made using tissue/balsa construction. I built one already, really have to have clean and accurate bends on the wire that works the wings.

Interesting to build and watch when it flies.

Checked and it doesn't look like the kits are available anymore, found others.

Converting the graphics to one of the kits would be interesting. Really like the "landing gear" on yours!

Yes

thanks for your kind replies!

@mbauer - cool, your ornithopter must be fascinating. i could imagine a real ornithopter in a roger dean livery but i'm afraid the "landing gear" wouldn't be usefully - it just only looks good 😅

by the way: i'm gonna see YES live in vienna in may 😎
