Hello...
I will try to build this model, I bought the download from Ecardmodel and it is designed by Marek Pacynski.... The model is originally 1:33 but I rescaled it to 1:24. |

Hello...
I started the construction of this model from the back and made the control surfaces and the skid... Everything fit very well.... |

Hello...
Burning Beard and Smithdr, thank you for the interest shown in this topic, I will try to make it as good as possible and to emphasize certain difficulties in making this model.... I continued with the first segment of the fuselage, which I found very difficult to make... as you can see in picture no. 2, the segment in the front has an oval shape and in the back it is rectangular and also places that need to be cut out in order to could assemble the control surfaces and the skid...somehow I managed to assemble everything satisfactorily, but I recommend that only the places for the horizontal control surface be cut out... by cutting out all the places, the fuselage segment is severely deformed... |

I don't see any faults with your building here. I would reccomend to try sticking an additional paper layer around the openings to help strengthen it when the part needs to be bent at such a severe angle. Bend it nearly to shape and then glue the extra layer inside. Either that or instead of cutting a long slot just do a couple of holes and use some wire or card sticks to locate the part.
I am happy to see that Marek also uses a method I devised for getting the horizontal stas aligned and strong, which is two jigsaw pieces that slot together through the main fuselage.

Make sure you are shaping the paper enough before gluing. Cut the slots after the piece is glued.

Siwi, Royaloakmin, Smithdr and Wyvern thank you for your interest in this topic and for your advice I will take them into account in the future...
I continued according to the instructions with the following elements of the fuselage... everything fit very well... also a tip for those who would be interested in making this model, to cut the fuselage segments in such a way that the black contour line of piece not to be seen...as can be seen in the last two pictures, in the places where the segments join, these contour lines are quite pronounced... |
