Thanks John. Never thought using carbon fibre for wiring but why not. Have to check that out someday. The steel wire what I've used for the wing strings is 0.4 (it comes at 0.3 aswell. Good thing about it is that it doesn't sag. Just cut to wanted length and wiggel it to punched holes and thats it. Easy breasy.

Yes Isaac, no wear and tear on this one - other than caused by me. ;-)

Truly a work of art.

That gun looks awesome, no worries with the color change, the excellent work will distract from the questionable area.

I call it done. Here are some more pictures of the finished product. It is for bigger model that I'm used to despite the castles I've built. I have now a storage issue with this. Maybe I need to have a base and a cover to protect it from dust or then I just put it in a shoebox. We'll see that later.

My sincerest thanks to everybody who took part in this buld, your comments and encouragement were vital in keeping up a good building spirit.

Cheers all,

Tappi

Being a big fan of biplanes, you have given us a beauty to look at here.
Outstanding work.

What a stunner! As someone commented earlier, it truly is museum standard.

Thank you gents! Few words to summarize this experience. The kit is excellent, very accurate and comes together well. I had some issues with it but I take those on my account. This was a first in many ways. First in this scale in any medium for starters. First premium paper kit finished, I have started many but failed miserably to finish them. So I'm happy and even a bit proud of the way I managed to surprise myself. And I guess some of you as well. Now I take a deep breath and return to my more familiar modeling activities.

I used all the pieces the kit offered and used paper wherever I could in detailing too. I did eventually build the bombs but I'm not going to attach them though, that could cause serious trouble at this stage. The last piece added to the model was a tie down loop on the underside of the lower left wing leading edge. It is provided in the kit.

Cheers for now,
Tappi

Forgive me Tappi if you mentioned it somewhere else, but what is the scale of this model?
Thanks . . . Mike
