Currently working on a kit of his that is entirely joiner strips, so you might have a better time with newer designs.

Hello everyone

Now glue on the individual segments piece by piece ... a tricky business

Now to the rudder ... which is simply put on.

Sincerely
Kurt

Hello everybody

Continue with the horizontal stabilizer ... which is pushed through, here some adjustments were necessary.

After drying thoroughly, attach the tail section to the fuselage.

Best regards
Kurt

Hello

Close the fuselage section with cardboard D1, let it dry well... then cut out the opening for the wings...

... and attach the segment to the hull.

Best regards
Kurt

Very nice fuselage so far. I've only done one kit without joining strips but it didn't end well. Then again I'm not very skilled even with joining strips. One trick I've learned for wing openings is to cut small slits in the fuselage prior to assembly. This gives you a little more control when cutting the full opening (particularly at the front and rear of the chord).

I second that, cutting small slits before the part is formed makes it much easier to do the large cut out when the time comes.
