Got the control wires on! It's break time (mother in law time) but next will be the engine. Fun stuff to come!

Thanks Fred and Don! And Don: That book you recommended about Otto is amazing. I'm almost done and I think I'll need to order the one when he's in the Flieger Korps.
![]() Not much done, but I at least started the crank case. Turns out that visiting mothers-in-law put a real crimp on one's modeling time! Anyway, cylinders will be soon...Dan |

Wow Dan, what a fantastic piece of work but it looks very fragile. Ha, ha, had you expected differently: MIL's are not so much interested in modeling, as long as she brings stroopwafels

Japanese hole drill/punch or whatever you wanna call it. Expensive but indispensable for me. I. Use. It. All. The. Time.

Thanks, Greg. I did look that sucker up and when I save a bit of side cash I WILL be getting one. Looks superb and will definitely be used so it's worth it.
Much appreciated, Dan |

This Lohner & your build are so beautiful!
Haha, it reminds me of the only anime' that I really like "Porco Rosso". So many beautiful seaplanes in that theater during WW1 & depicted in the movie too. Thanks for keeping up the Tradition Dave aka Formerly Styrene |
