Erik - Although I haven't posted recently, you can be sure that I am tracking this magnificent build. You are among the very top of the talented model builders in the Forum. Every one of your projects is a masterpiece, although, because of the Southwest Pacific air war, I could not help being especially attracted to this one. I look forward to seeing the model completed. Fine work, as always A good point is that the propeller blades are on the good side of the CG. If needed, it should still be possible to squeeze some weight inside the spinners.
I noted that you managed to make good links between the main gear leg and the other legs. They surely helped. I had a case where the wire rotated inside the paper roll, well after completing the model. Somehow, the glue was subject to creep! That’s something I'm used to in civil engineering but not so much on paper modelling… |
