Yoav Hozmi.

Every now and then I have a look around for the familiar names and find some missing.

I know, life has a habit of getting in the way of sidebars like this hobby.

It would be nice to know these guys are OK, even if they do not get to visit as often because they bring so much to this community and it counts as far as being examples of decency.

Anyone know if Yoav Hozmi for example, is well and creating masterpieces? I rather miss that genius.

Not to mention others of his ilk.

Best to all of you on the forum, inspiring and marvelous productions that warm the old cockles. Stay well folks, you and yours.

Mike

Hi Mike and thanks for your interest.

I'm still alive and well.
but i am on a long break from paper models for all sorts of reasons, such as lack of muse and back problems that come and go.

In any case, I am still active here on the forum and respond from time to time to the talented builders here.

Meanwhile, I started a new hobby.
A year ago I was exposed to metal diecast models of the Hobby Master company and started buying and collecting them.

I already have 25 models and every month I buy one model, because it is still a bit of an expensive business.

Hope to get back into the paper model hobby soon.

Best regards

YOAV

Yoav, I have both your A-4 and F-4 on my bench at the moment. I'm really impressed with the fit and the artwork.
Cheers,

I am starting Yoav’s IAI Nesher. It is a reverse engineered with original drawings of the Mirage 5 that the Israelis built after the French embargo.

Still left to build from his designs are the F-15 and the F-16

And we are all waiting for his muse to return. And his work on the Vautour jet French fighter bomber.

His designs are in our download section

Isaac

Try the HOBBY MASTER models, in my opinion and experience they are better quality.

I compared CORGI models that are identical to HOBBY MASTER models and I saw differences in favor of HOBBY MASTER.

The problem for me is that HOBBY MASTER does not have all the CORGI models (such as French models from the sixties and seventies) and vice versa.
