Thanks Isaac, Don and Butelczynski...

I agree it does look like the Bloch, Isaac. It would be fun to make one of those and post them together. I think I have one from Marek!

Butelczynski: I saw that thread and that person is doing a spectacular job like making 3-D exhausts etc. It'll certainly be a looker.

Hi Don...thanks for the kind words. Funny how it seems so much simpler than the Lohner, yet I've made more than my share of foul-ups so far!

Got some more done. The rear fuselage, fin/rudder and now I'm working on the rear cockpit decking and roll-over cage. Starting to look like an airplane now!

More soon...Dan

Thanks Yoav and Bob! This one is nice and straight forward. Sort of a pretty nice change.

I added the roll-over bars and the rear cockpit windows. Looks fine to me. Maybe stab next but we'll see...

Got my tails done! Very simple with a single spar and no internals. This was quite a bit easier than the tails on the Lohner!

Starting the wings soon...Dan

That subtle camouflage scheme is very attractive.

Flawless work on the empennage.

Thank you, Don. It helps that the design is spot-on. Wait until I try a REAL paper model like an old hand-drawn example without laser parts!

The wings are coming along. I found a nice aluminum tube wing spar that fits perfectly. I'll see if I can get the other side made and on tonight.

Cheers,
Dan

Interesting 'Rustsatz' with that wing spar. Did you decide this was going to provide a stronger structure or just a simpler build process than using the kit formers? Will the landing gear support it ok?
