Its nice that all these details will be done and ready to go when you are assembling the aircraft. Looks good.

I agree, Michael. At the end of a complex construction, patience for the repetitive tasks is seldom high…
Today’s pictures show the Sidewinder launch rails and the triple Maverick pylons.
The complete arsenal, too.

Just this work on all the armaments and missiles, it's like building an entire model.

Great job.

Very impressive work Ricardo! I prefer paper bombs and missiles over real ones.

Erik

Thanks, Isaac, Yoav and Erik. Yes, the A-10 can carry a lot of “toys”, and I also prefer the paper ones
The detail set includes laser cut formers and coloured parts as well. However, they are not textured and look desperately “flat”. A good example is the fan blade disk. I opted to use the laser cut disk but covered it with the individually printed blades. The trick to get uniformly oriented blades is obvious in the pictures. A bit time consuming but worth the effort.
I added gluing tabs for the inner parts. They helped a lot go get satisfactory assemblies.

Exclamation Wrong direction

Unless there is an optical illusion with your build, the TF-34 engine fan blades rotated counterclockwise front looking aft. Thus the blade leading edge on top should be on the left.

See here actual engine view.

Minor issue.

Holy cow, the perfection in the cylindricity of the nacelle and the evenness of the blades! Very impressive.
