1/33 Boeing-Stearman N2S-2
Here's my newest model. This is also my second Stearman - in 2019 I built one from the old IAF Magazine (you can find it here on page 6: My paper models collection in 1/33).
New one is from MPModel 7/2020 and portrays a U.S. Navy (NAS Corpus Christi, Texas, 1943) aircraft in iconic yellow. Unluckily, the varnishing of this model didn't go too well and damaged the colors a bit. Plane looks weathered now, so it's not that bad I think...

Another great model of a historic aircraft, Zenon.
I had a pleasure of a brief ride in one of these a few years ago. I look forward to your next model. Don |

Engine and cockpit looking good. What was the issue with the varnish? Did it start to take the print off during brushing or is it just a matt finish that is dulling the colour?

Thanks Don and Siwi.
Quote:
99% of my models get varnish gently applied by brush and the print is rarely affected by that to this point. Also, the varnish usually makes colors a bit more intense. Here it made them paler. I will have to get a new varnish.
