Inpressive model. Duck is one of my favorite biplane seaplane. I watch with great interest.

Just saw a walk around by Kermit Weeks of one of his ducks on Facebook , has great shots of the interior to include the area in the bottom (hull) for rescued pilots, the gunner position and the cockpit.

Thanks! In the small scale you often build the fiddler's green duck is probably pretty nice? I like them too one of my favorites, and Grumman's in general the early retractable gear is fun to model.

He also has a great interview with a elderly duck pilot that is amazing with a several hundred mile river taxi run in a "wounded duck" I enjoy his video of flying the sikorsky s-39. At least the duck has a water rudder!

Glenn -
Great work on this historic bird. I appreciated your comments on your engine, wing tip, and canopy methodologies. Thanks also for the link to the video. It sure took a lot of cranking to get the 1930s Grumman landing gear raised. Imagine doing that with an F3F immediately after a carrier take off while also formating with the rest of the flight. Makes me want to re-read Robert A. Winston's Dive Bomber, my favorite book about U.S. Navy aviation of the period. Don |

I thought Kancho had designed that model, it is a clever design maybe my favorite simple FG model. Where can I find Bruno’s duck?
