Align the front and back parts together to make them one entity. After docking, it can be found that the one of record badges on the outside of the cockpit cannot be aligned. Another bigger issue is that the finished canopy I bought cannot match this model

You can see that the finished canopy I bought is specifically designed for FLY MODEL No.50 Mosquito. Due to the significant difference between the two models, I had to use the parts in the kit to make a new canopy myself.

The method I use is still to fill the paper bowl with plaster. But after that, I found that its surface was not smooth enough, so I made it a second time, this time changed to epoxy resin. After waiting for two days, I could easily sand it smooth with sandpaper.

Fine and accurate work! Impressive that you used a form for working the nose petals into shape. The canopy looks like real glass.

After this experience, I have become accustomed to using the same method to build more models in the future. Therefore, I am here to share my experience with everyone, hoping it will be helpful to all of you.

I used electric tool and airbrush to process tires.

Good build! The Mozzie's nose has always been a tricky thing to reproduce in paper.

In my schedule, there is also a model of P-61 Black Widow, which has a more exaggerated petals type nose. Fortunately, I have found a feasible solution. Perhaps I will start trying its more exaggerated nose next year...

The next step is to build the wings.
