Very nice. The Mustang's aesthetics extended to the inside as well, and the type has one of the tidier and better laid out cockpits amongst warbirds.

To be honest, it is indeed more difficult than imagined to process small parts with Copperplate paper. Fortunately, I did not pursue it too high, and achieving the current effect is very satisfying.
I have already fixed the dashboard in the cockpit today.

Beautiful work so far. I have this one in my stash, too. The metallicized ink is a little daunting. One thing I have thought about is whether it would be recommended to spray matte clear over the parts that don't depict bare aluminum?

This type of paper really gives me a headache. Its texture is closer to plastic sheets, so ordinary wood glue cannot penetrate the paper fibers. The glue often opens when it dries. In addition, after being cut by the knife, there is often powder peeling off at the edges of the parts, and the printed color also falls off accordingly. I haven't thought about spraying any paint on the surface of the printed parts, I think the printing effect is already very good.

By the way, although Halinski's paper is copperplate paper, it has a much better texture than IPMS's copperplate paper. You can refer to the production process of my other model:

My current step is to progress from the tail to the waist, and finally close at the waist. The last photo is that I just tested the compatibility between the canopy and the cockpit.
