The kitís external tanks rely on the petal solution, which if often tricky to assemble. The smaller tanks (ModelArt) are a good example of how a cone-based solution is effective. Good work

Hi ricleite, In fact, the surface of the actual 108 gallon fuel tank is not smooth, and the petal solution does not require excessive smoothing. Retaining some patterns is actually closer to reality. The more reason I didn't adopt this plan is that I found that this aircraft doesn't have any historical photos to support this configuration.
