Jan
This is a spectacular collection of L-Birds.
These are exceptional builds and I very much enjoy following your thread.
I am looking forward to any new additions.

Back in the middle of February you posted a reference to the I-Tec Site and the PA-14 model that used to be available from them.( https://www.papermodelers.com/forum/798426-post37.html ) This time the Internet Archive has done its job. A copy of the pdf file can still be downloaded from https://web.archive.org/web/20100706...5156hmodel.pdf

Sorry for the belated input, but at about that time I lost my back-up drive and while trying to recover some files my laptop's harddrive crashed. Been off-line for some time.

Thank you sepp10!

Here's a Canadian-registered Piper Pa-12 to keep company with Boubou's plane and Mister Duloup's plane, which I'm about to present to you;
DGA model.

The CAA War Training Service is supposed to have the WTS - and the last three digits of the tail number on the upper left , and lower right wing.
I recreated this forgotten livery from an old black and white photo.
This is the plane I helped restore in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Last time I checked , there was only two aircraft with this livery in the US .

Thank you very much cnhalfpap for your interesting clarifications, it's always very useful when real aviation players can help us improve our paper birds. Your testimonial is much appreciated.

Thank you my friend!

Boubou the moose's friend Mister Duloup, a wolf, has decided to take part in the Pipers' big gathering too.
So he bought a Cub and redecorated it to his taste!
A modified DGA model.

Thank you WVA!

Here's a Canadian Piper Pa-12 from Yukon Airways, based at Whitehorse.
Here it is equipped with skis.
A DGA model.
I thank Jim G for his help with the skis.

cnhalfpap, member of our forum, pointed out to me that my Aeronca L-3 was not quite the same as the original. His advice is invaluable, as he participated in the restoration of the real aircraft, which wears the same colors. Above all, the registration plates on and under the wings are missing. What's more, the plane is not gray underneath, but uniformly olive drab.
I therefore modified my model by replacing the wings with new ones corrected on the computer and color modifications.
Thank you again to cnhalfpap for his advice!
