My warmest thanks to RyanShort1, who suggested this aircraft for my collection and offered me the model.

Here's the BIG Stinson, the first of the L-birds, the Stinson L-1 (ex O-49) Vigilant, first flown in 1940, inspired by the Fieseler Storch and built in 324 examples.
Stinson L-1 Vigilant - Wikipedia

The model (Murph'sModels) represents the ambulance version.

To be consistent with the other models in my post concerning size and appearance, I've made 3 modifications:
It's reduced to 1/72 scale, I redecorated the canopy and replaced the engine with a photo of the real thing but this is optional.
I represented my model with the sunshades deployed in the greenhouse as seen on a photo in the Signal squadron on the L-birds.

It's a good, fairly easy model, except for the assembly of the wing-greenhouse-fuselage section that deserves close attention.
That's how I did it:
I made the wing in one piece with the dihedral, then threaded it through the assembled greenhouse.
Then I glued it to the fuselage.
I have a little problem with the oil cooler. I think the piece is too small for the model. Isn't that right?

Thank you!

Vaguely evoked in connection with the Husky, its improved successor, this is the Super Cub.
The Piper PA-18 or Piper Super Cub is the worthy successor to the J-3. More spacious, more powerful, it replaced the J-3 from 1949 onwards and was a resounding success.

Here are 3 Super Cubs, all Belgian and all glider tugs.
One for the army, the other two for the renowned Saint Hubert gliding center.

Fiddlersgreen models, the two civilians are redecorations from the "Maquettes en papier" forum.

For your viewing pleasure, a small American Cub (N28118) with pretty 1943 North Africa-style colors.
DGA model!

The Piper NE-2 is a US Navy L-4 grasshopper.
On this model, you can see the rare red-bordered American roundel, which was only in use from June to August 1943.
A DGA model.

Boubou, the moose, is my daughter's favorite stuffed animal.

Boubou the moose is an aviation enthusiast. He owns his own plane, a Druine Turbulent.

He also owns a glider.

Wishing to take part in the L-birds rally planned to commemorate June 6th 1944 and honor the memory of Canadian soldiers, he has just bought a superb Canadian Piper Cub which he has (barely) customized, see the Piper emblem on the tail.
A DGA model.
