Junkers Ju 88 - GELI Nr. 29 - 1:33

Hello aeronauts

The next project is taking to the skies again

With the Ju 88 from Geli we go back to the roots of my work in the 1970s

Around 120 parts are spread across three and a half typical GELI sheets... the written construction instructions are supplemented by construction sketches.

There are around 70 frames and chassis parts on the 0.75 mm cardboard.

We are looking forward to an exciting work assignment with great anticipation

Kurt

The father of my best friend was a navigator on one of these during the war. Looking forward to your build

Good luck with your model. I have always loved Geli models. I have them all except the more recent ones but unbuilt. I plan one day to start making them Being more than 60, it will take some time. The markings of your JU-88 are not 100% accurate but they are attractive enough. The outlines are very accurate and as with most Geli models, not tooi hard to construct and results are amazing. This year we have a celebration of the Geli models. I posted a remembrance on the aircraft section of this forum. Goof luck and keep us posted.
Pete

And continue with pleasure ..........

In fuselage part 9, the window openings must be glued behind with foil... the frame is glued in without a tab...

... and the cylinder is mounted at the front of the fuselage.

Sincerely
Kurt

I will be interested to see how the kit deals with the glazed nose.
It doesn't give a variant but guess it's of the A-series.
