PetworthPilot, I totally agree with you. I admit that when I saw these models I didn't think at all that there was something wrong. I have downloaded two models from there because at the moment I was wondering what to do. I promise I won't take others and this will be my humble contribution to copyright protection.
Greetings Lachezar.

Do we know who provided the kit of the DR1 and where it is available? I am very happy to pay for it. I'm a big fan of the WW1 planes.

Mike, I'm very late in replying because I don't know who provided the DR1 kit. I think I've already explained my opinion on pirate models. I understand that you are a fan of WWI aircraft. If you wish, I can give you my development of Hansa Brandenburg in 1.48 scale
Write me if you want. Lachézar

However, if you want a much more accurate and finely detailed Dr.1 or F.1, get one of the very best paper models available (without question) from the series by Luis Igualada. Available from ecardmodels. Check out this video to get a great preview: Fokker DR I paper model step by step - YouTube After the first view, you may want to slow it down to 1/4 speed to enjoy it again ...with frequent admiring pauses. Luis is as talented a builder as he is a designer. Since you are a WWI fan, I can recommend any of Luis' models, and in particular the Triplane. His kits are a joy to build, but take some "dedicated" (fun) time. Gene K |
